The Leadership Team and Staff listed below are only a small portion of the many members of Zion Church who have been a vital part of the life and witness of our Church. Our culture and leadership is characterized by worship, the love of God, and a genuine call to ministry. These core values have been shaped by our rich history of great  leadership, co-workers, volunteers and energy; always pressing forward in our call to love God and love others.

  • Pastor Austin D. Lamos

    Youth Pastor

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! My name is Austin Lamos. I am excited to start in this new role as Youth Pastor for Zion Church.

My passion is to preach the Good News. I seek to love God with all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love my neighbor as myself. I see my calling is to share with youth and youth-at-heart who God is so that they can know them better. And in doing so help people know who they are and who they were created to be because of who God is.

Growing up in the Church at various places around the country (I was born in Texas and have lived in 5 states if you count college), I first felt a calling to ministry as a teenager. Following the guidance of Mentors and Pastors I followed that call and graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2009 with a BA in Educational Ministry, and from Northwest Nazarene University in 2015 with a MA in Pastoral Ministry. I was ordained through the Church of the Nazarene in 2018.

I love seeing individuals grow and develop. I love seeing people realize their callings in Christ and discover God’s love for them. I’m very much looking forward to what God has in store for the future of Zion Church, and feel blessed that I can be even a small part of that.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
